Quick Update

Today went well. Charlottesville was successful, didn't get lost, and managed to get Forestry's bloodborne pathogens program online. I also managed to finally get my teleworking training online today, ending months of delay and revisions. For the first time in two years I have something to show for my work. What a nice day.

More tomorrow.

On the Road Again

I have been busy as hell the past week working on a project on bloodborne pathogens for the Department of Forestry. Tomorrow, I have to go to Charlottesville to deliver the recordings and teach a lady how to use the learning management program. I haven’t been to Charlottesville in years (because I always get lost) and I don’t usually look forward to meeting new people, so I am not really looking forward to it. I am sure it will be fine, but I have never been accused of being optimistic. Hopefully it will be a quick trip and I will get home early…and I hope I don’t get lost again.

So, I have teased it all week and now it is finally time for the concussion story. I am sure that it will be disappointing. As I said a couple of days ago, my computer died again so I had to take it to my Dad for repairs. The computer weights like 50 pounds, so in order to save my back I used a handcart to bring it to the car. As I got was lifting the thing into the car, one of the feet became stuck on the base of the cart. As I lifted the computer, the cart started pulling to the left (which I didn’t notice) and as my head was level with the top, it broke free, crashing into the side of my head. After getting my bearings, I tried to go back to my apartment and couldn’t find it. I figured it out and finally made it to the ‘rents house. End the end, I had a headache for two days, some forgetfulness, and a giant bruise on the side of my head. Not bad for my first concussion. (I told you it would be disappointing.)

I suppose I should be heading off to bed so i can get to Charlottesville on time.

Until next time…

Moving the Posts

I have decided to move the blog to a new location. I will let you know where when I decide, but I am looking for somewhere that it is easier to post more than just blog entrees.
